Impeachment Articles Filed Against Harris 

Vice President Kamala Harris found herself in another trouble on Wednesday after she kick-started her campaign.

A House Republican lawmaker filed articles of impeachment against Harris on Wednesday, citing her failure to protect the border. The lawmaker also cited the vice president’s failure to reveal her knowledge of President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

The lawmaker, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), accused the vice president of breaching public trust and willfully refusing to uphold the nation’s immigration law.

“Kamala Devi Harris has demonstrated extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties and responsibilities, a stark refusal to uphold the existing immigration law, and a palpable indifference to people of the United States suffering as a result of the ongoing southern border crisis in the United States,” the impeachment articles read. “During her tenure as the designated border czar, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency ‘encountered’ nearly 302,000 illegal aliens at the southwest border in December 2023, the highest monthly total ever recorded and representing 4 consecutive months of over 240,000 illegal alien ‘encounters.”

Ogles filed two impeachment articles against the vice president, with one accusing her of knowingly misleading the American people and Congress to hide President Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive decline.

Several Republican lawmakers and the American people have raised concern about what and when Harris knew about Biden’s mental state.

Ogles’ articles of impeachment come moments before the House Committee advanced a resolution by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY). Stefanik’s resolution condemned the vice president over the border crisis.

Harris also found herself in another legal trouble after former President Donald Trump’s campaign filed a complaint against her campaign with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

The former president’s campaign argued that Biden can not legally transfer his doomed campaign resources to Harris’ campaign.

David Warrington, the Trump campaign’s general counsel, maintained that attempts to transfer the more than $90 million in Biden donor money to the Harris campaign amount to a “brazen money grab.”

“Kamala Harris is in the process of committing the largest campaign finance violation in American history and she is using the Commission’s own forms to do it,” the filing reads. “The Commission must not and cannot sit idly by while one candidate takes nearly one hundred million dollars from the authorized committee of another, in violation of the Act and the will of the donors who gave the money in the first place.”

In a move that’s sure to raise eyebrows, Trump has filed a complaint with the FEC accusing President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of Violating Campaign Laws by transferring his $91 million in fundraising cash to her new campaign. 🚨🚨🚨
