Trump Suggests Biden Be Tested Before Debates

Former President Donald Trump suggested in an interview on Thursday that President Joe Biden should be drug tested before the two compete in presidential debates this fall.

The former president also claimed Biden was higher than a kite at the beginning of his recent State of the Union address.

“I think what happened is, you know, that white stuff that they happened to find, which happened to be cocaine, in the White House,” Trump said. “I don’t know, and I think something’s going on there because I watched this State of the Union, and he was all jacked up at the beginning.”

According to The Daily Wire, Trump’s remarks came after the Secret Service discovered cocaine in the White House last July in the lobby area of the West Executive Avenue entrance.

According to reports, the cocaine incident resulted in an 11-day Secret Service investigation; however, the investigation was quickly closed due to a lack of evidence.

During the interview, Hugh Hewitt, a radio host and the former director of the United States Office of Personnel Management, asked Trump about his invitation to debate Biden anywhere and anytime.

Hewitt also asked if he thought Biden would agree to any debates.

“I don’t think so, but I hope he does,” Trump said.

When asked if he was suggesting that Biden was using cocaine, Trump responded:

“I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not; hey, he was higher than a kite,” he said. “And by the way, it was the worst address I’ve ever seen, the State of the Nation. I tell you, State of the Union, that’s not State of the Union because he doesn’t represent us properly.”

Trump’s suggestion comes again four years after the former president first demanded Biden take a drug test ahead of his first presidential debate in 2020.

“I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden before, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night,” Trump tweeted. “Naturally, I will agree to take one also. His Debate performances have been record-setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly. Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???”
