Thousands Of Anti-Israel Protesters Gathered Outside White House

Daily Report June 10,2024

A chaotic scene occurred outside the White House on Sunday as pro-Hamas protesters gathered to express their support for Palestinians and condemn Israel’s actions on Gaza.

According to Breitbart News, the demonstrators, who were dressed in Keffiyeh, called on President Joe Biden to free Palestine and end the siege in Gaza. The Protesters remained outraged with Biden’s policies toward Israel and its actions in Gaza.

The demonstrators unveiled a two-mile-long red banner in reference to the red line Israel crossed when they began the operation in Rafah, a southern city in Gaza where many Palestinians have fled.

One of the protesters, Nas Issa, said they would no longer tolerate Israel’s actions in Gaza and that it was time for the U.S. to take action. Meanwhile, another protester told the reporters that she regrets voting for Biden in 2020 and that she will never vote for him again.

Videos posted on social media showed some of the protesters igniting smoke bomb flares that were then tossed onto the White House lawn. According to Breitbart News, no arrests had been made at the time of this report. Meanwhile, the protest resulted in road closures, and a demonstration occurred while Biden was in France for D-Day commemorations.

According to the New York Post, Answer Coalition, an anti-war activist group, participated in the demonstration. The group had posted on its website a day before the protest that they demanded an immediate ceasefire and an immediate end to the siege on Gaza.

“Biden can’t draw the line, but we can. On June 8, we will come together from across the country and surround the White House,” the group posted on its website. “We demand an immediate cease-fire, an immediate end to the siege on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners, and an end to the occupation of Palestine.”
