Letitia James Could Help Re-Elect Trump

Daily Report March 23,2024

Pollster and CNN panelist Frank Luntz warned that New York Attorney General Letitia James could help re-elect former President Donald Trump if she tried seizing the former president’s assets.

James won a $464 million decision against Trump over allegations that the former president overvalued his property and wealth to receive more favorable loans from banks.

Trump must post the $464 million bond by March 25 or risk losing some of his assets. The former president has, however, struggled to raise the funds with many bond companies unable to provide the funds.

With the deadline looming, James has signified that she will begin seizing some of Trump’s assets. Luntz, during an appearance on CNN, warned James against the move, adding that it will help re-elect Trump.

“I want you to remember this moment and don’t forget it,” Luntz said. “If the attorney general starts to take his homes away, starts to seize his assets, it’s all gonna be on camera. Pundits are gonna sit there scream about this, ‘this man cannot be elected.’ You’re going to create the biggest victimhood of 2024 and you’re going to elect Donald Trump. If they take his stuff, he’s gonna say that this is proof that the federal government and the establishment and the swamp in Washington and all the politicians across the country and the attorneys generals and all of this, that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency. He’s gonna go up in the polls jut like he went up every single time they indicted him”

Luntz warned James against playing politics, noting that Maine and Colorado played politics with their ballot case, and it backfired.

“And I say this to the attorney general right now,” Luntz said while pointing at the camera. “If you play politics on this, this is what the secretaries of state did in Colorado and what they did in what I believe is Maine. His numbers went up in both states. I don’t understand, I’m almost speechless in how pathetic the opposition to Trump has been and how completely misguided and this is a perfect example of it.”
