City officials in Los Angeles are losing their heads again after Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott sent them a busload of migrants.
According to Breitbart News, the bus contained 44 migrants from Colombia, China, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. The bus, which traveled from the south Texas border city of Brownsville, arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Officials with the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) revealed that the migrants included 14 children between two and 14 years of age.
CHIRLA Executive Director Angelica Salas criticized Abbott while falsely labeling the Republican governor’s action “outrageous.”
“Actions ordered by Texas Governor Abbott against migrants and refugees are outrageous, if not criminal,” Salas said. “We condemn the dehumanization of migrants and refugees anywhere and we remind Governor Abbott that every life is precious and protected under the United Nations’ Human Rights Charter.”
“Busing migrants anywhere in the middle of a scorching summer is not kind, it is cruel and unjustified,” says Angelica Salas, the executive director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.

Salas also falsely claimed Operation Lone Star —Abbott’s border police, which included bussing the migrants to their desired final destination— is full of xenophobia and void of human decency.
“ “But the line has been crossed long ago by this governor, with the most recent example being the busing of thousands of asylum seekers to various other states, including Los Angeles, California,” Salas added.
The latest busload of migrants to arrive in Los Angeles is the fifth Abbott has sent to the city. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass responded angrily when Abbott sent a busload of migrants to the city in June.
Despite the city’s status as a sanctuary city, Bass still labeled the Aboott’s decision as “abhorrent” and accused the Texas governor of using the migrants as pawns in his political games.
California’s Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom reacted similarly when his Republican counterpart, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, sent a plane-load of migrants to Sacramento.

Newsome threatened to file kidnapping charges against DeSantis for flying the migrants to his state.

“My Administration is also working with the California Department of Justice to investigate the circumstances around who paid for the group’s travel and whether the individuals orchestrating this trip misled anyone with false promises or have violated any criminal laws, including kidnapping,” Newsom said.
