Ahead of his historic inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump received a personalized Diet Coke bottle from Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey in a special presentation on Tuesday.

The momentous occasion was captured and shared on social media platform X by Margo Martin, who serves as Trump’s deputy communications director.

“Tonight, President Trump received the first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, James Quincey,” Martin announced on her X account.

The shared images captured Trump displaying a broad smile alongside Quincey as he received the customized bottle, which featured the inscription “Inauguration of President of the United States Donald J. Trump.”

The presentation included additional significance, as reported by the Daily Mail. The commemorative bottle arrived in a distinctive red box accompanied by a note highlighting Coca-Cola’s substantial economic impact, citing “$55 billion in economic activity generated by the Coca-Cola company, while supporting 860,000 jobs in the United States.”

The accompanying note stated, “We’re proud to continue our decades-long tradition of celebrating the U.S. presidential inauguration with a commemorative bottle.”

This tradition has proven valuable in the past, with commemorative bottles created for former President Barack Obama now commanding prices of up to $50 per bottle on eBay’s auction platform.
