Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) on Saturday sent the House into a panic mode in a bid to delay a House vote that would delay government shutdown and fund the government till November.
Radical Dem Rep. Jamaal Bowman just pulled the fire alarm in the House’s Cannon Building, which forced an evacuation and delayed votes.
I view this as interfering with official legislative proceedings.
He is an insurrectionist.

According to Breitbart News, House Democrats were desperate to delay the vote for the funding bill so their Senate colleagues could pass a Democrat bill that serves the same purpose. One major difference in both funding bills is that the Senate Democrats planned to send billions to Ukraine while the House bill, led by House Republicans, provides zero tax dollars to Ukraine.

House Democrats had tried several delay tactics including a motion to adjourn vote —which failed— and House Minority Rep. Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) using as much time as he could through his “magic minute” which allows the opposition leader to speak for as long as they like.

I’m calling on the DOJ to prosecute him using the same law they used to prosecute J6… pic.twitter.com/KlXjwVrkc1

Events took a dramatic turn when Bowman, in order to delay the vote, pulled a fire alarm and sent the House into panic mode, triggering full-scale law enforcement and emergency services response. Bowman’s radical and dangerous action also caused the entire building to be evacuated.

Bowman, however, released a statement on Saturday night claiming he pulled the fire alarm because he thought it would open a door.
“Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open,” Bowman said. “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.”
Sources familiar with the investigation into the lawmaker’s action told Breitbart that Bowman ripped two signs down and threw them on the ground. The two signs were attached to the emergency exit. The signs were attached to an emergency exit and read “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY—PUSH UNTIL ALARM SOUNDS (3 SECONDS) DOOR WILL UNLOCK IN 30 SECONDS.”
“He ripped both of them off the door and threw them both on the floor,” a source familiar with the investigation told Breitbart News. “Then, he leaned into the door and tried to open it,” the source added. “Then, he pulled the fire alarm. When the alarm begins going off, he turned around and ran—going down to the first floor of Cannon and exited out of a different door then made his way across the street to votes. At no point did he say to anyone ‘sorry this is a mistake’ or ‘sorry I pulled the fire alarm by mistake’ or anything like that. He didn’t say anything to anyone until he was confronted by Capitol Police later. By doing what he did he caused a whole building to be evacuated. Capitol Police and emergency services need to treat any alarm like a real threat until they know otherwise.”
