Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) got into a heated spat after the senator called out the former Wyoming lawmaker and former Rep. Adam Kizinger (R-IL) for their role on the “sham” January 6 select committee.
House Speaker Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) released videos taken inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the day of the Capitol protest. The videos released showed most of the protesters in the Capitol walking peacefully, contrary to reports in the mainstream media that protesters were violent inside the Capitol.
Today, I am keeping my promise to the American people and making all the January 6th tapes available to ALL Americans.

Kizinger and Cheney are the only two House Republicans who joined Democrats on the January 6 House Select Committee to investigate the case. The committee found that the protesters were violent and recommended charges against former president Donald Trump for allegedly inciting the protest.
Lee, in an X post, blasted Cheney and Kizinger for their role in the committee while suggesting that both lawmakers were busy working against the Republicans they wanted to defeat
Why didn’t Liz Cheney and Adam Kizinger ever refer to any of these tapes?
Maybe they never looked for them.
Maybe they never even questioned their own narrative.
Maybe they were just too busy selectively leaking the text messages of Republicans they wanted to defeat. https://t.co/Nqt1RuMWTd

Cheney hit back with a post showing protesters and police clashing outside the Capitol building with the caption, “Here’s some January 6th video for you.”
Lee immediately responded, noting that the former lawmaker and the select committee made sure the American people only saw those kinds of footage.
Liz, we’ve seen footage like that a million times.
You made sure we saw that—and nothing else.
It’s the other stuff—what you deliberately hid from us—that we find so upsetting.
Nice try.
P.S. How many of these guys are feds? (As if you’d ever tell us). https://t.co/FryO0VdLdP

Remember: the people who helped hide the J6 tapes are cut out of the same cloth as those who will tell you that FISA 702 must be reauthorized without reforms—“because search warrants require too much effort.”
Here are two pictures of what some of those people look like: pic.twitter.com/kfQvJGbL5F
