Government Accountability Institute president Peter Schweizer said he does not believe that the Biden family business of influence peddling could be separated from President Joe Biden’s political position and power.
Schweizer, author of New York Times best-seller “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends,” told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that President Biden is at the center of his family business.

“Joe Biden is the center of all of this,” Schweizer said. “Think when Hunter starts this business, Rosemont Seneca, that does the deals in China, that gets him hooked up in Ukraine, he starts it in 2009, just months after his father becomes vice president of the United States, up until that point, Sean, he had been a lobbyist for entities in Delaware lobbying his own father. So the entire business enterprise was centered around his father’s elevation to the vice presidency, and then you look at the deals in China. Those deals get secured days after he shows up in China. Where? On Air Force Two with his father. So you cannot separate the Biden businesses from Joe Biden’s political position in power, and the notion that he just shows up and shakes hands and that just leads these foreign nationals to throw money at Hunter is laughable,” Schweizer continued.

Schweizer maintains that foreign entities and individuals who sent money to Hunter and the Biden family did so because they knew they would get “special access” and favors from the then-vice president.

Despite mounting evidence, Joe Biden denies being part of his family’s business. Messages from Hunter’s infamous laptop and witness testimony all show that the president was indeed involved and benefited financially from his family’s business.
“It’s classic influence peddling,” Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch told The Post. “The evidence is that it wasn’t just a matter of Joe allowing his son to inappropriately use his name, but the money was flowing and according to significant FBI evidence it went directly to Joe Biden.”
While Congressional probes have uncovered no direct payments to the president himself, emails from the laptop showed Hunter regularly covered Joe Biden’s household expenses.
