New Details EMERGE In Wisconsin Teacher Sexual Assault Case – Facing 9 COUNTS

Daily Report August 19,2024

Madison Bergman, a Wisconsin teacher, has been given more charges after she was caught for reportedly making out with her 11-year-old student in her classroom.

Now, Bergman faces one count of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, five charges of sexual misconduct by school staff, two charges of child enticement causing mental or bodily harm, and a charge of exposing a child to harmful materials.

If found guilty and sentenced consecutively, she would face up to 185 years in prison.

The criminal complaint alleges that the student’s mother learned of it when she overheard a phone call between her son and Bergmann. When the parents checked his phone and found that something wasn’t right, they allegedly started talking to their son and discovered an assortment of unseemly messages they said had been sent amongst him and Bergmann.

According to the LA Times, messages detailed a series of encounters inside Bergmann’s classroom — some taking place during lunch or after school. She is accused of saying in the texts that he was giving her enjoyment through inappropriate behavior.

In another bizarre turn of events charged by prosecutors, Bergmann is accused of moving the boy’s desk closer to hers in class so they could touch. Upon finding this out, the boy’s father took a printed commemorative exchange of texts to school officials and handed it over to authorities.

According to records kept in court, when police searched Bergmann’s classroom they found a folder inside her bag which contained handwritten notes detailing how much she and the victim kissed with his name at the top.

Bergman has since split from fiance Sam Hickman since July when the allegations came up.

A friend of Hickman’s told The Post: “He’s really, really hurt. Not talking too much about it, just like, ‘This is f–ked up.’ He says it was f–ked up that she cheated with a little kid.”

So far Bergmann has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
