Kamala Harris Speaks In North Carolina – Audience Unmoved As Dems Support Wanes

Daily Report July 20,2024

President Trump addressed the world Thursday night from Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the Republican National Convention. The former president described his attempted assassination, which touched the hearts of many in the audience and created a much stronger sense of community.

A few hours prior, an alternative candidate for the same top office took to another packed hall.

Kamala Harris spoke to crowds at Westover High School in North Carolina on Thursday afternoon. Fayetville is “with so many incredible leaders,” she began. She then went on to thank the nation’s families and servicemen.

Harris then went on to discuss Donald Trump’s VP, JD Vance.

She described his personal life story (related the night before at the Republican convention) as “compelling.” She then noted how curious it was that Vance did not once bring up “Project 2025.”

Throughout the speech, Harris seemed to be grinning cheek to cheek.

In her final remarks, she discussed the future and this year’s election. She asked the audience what sort of nation they want to be in and if the United States is a country that believes in freedom, compassion, and the rule of law.

Harris exited the stage shortly after. However, many sources have come out saying how divisive the Democratic party is right now.
