Illegal Migrants On The Loose Near Mexico Border – Kids Almost KILLED In School Bus Accident

A small group of migrants recently breached I-5 and tried stopping another bus before being turned back by the border patrol.

The incidents occurred in the Jamul-Dulzura Union Elementary School District, which is near the Mexico border. Three migrants on Tuesday deliberately tried to stop a bus by scaling the middle of Highway 94, causing it to swerve around them.

The migrants were congregating in the middle of Highway 94, and attempting to stop a school bus, according to Superintendent Liz Bystedt. That prompted parents Wednesday morning to keep their children off a bus bound for the same stop where students were boarding and about 20 migrants had also tried to board.

Nicole Cardinale, whose 8-year-old son was on the bus during the incident, said: “It was definitely really scary.”

The school district has alerted the California Highway Patrol, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and US Border Patrol about what happened.

A migrant near the border area arrived to speak from another activist indicating migrants may have considered boarding a bus as a way out of speaking with them.

But Jeremy Adams, a parent in the district as well, said his main concern was safety issues: “We don’t know who these people are. We don’t know if they have any criminal history, what their background is.”

A follow-up investigation is taking place by the sheriff’s department to find out if there was any criminal activity. “Student safety issues are of utmost concern for both the Sheriff’s Office and school district,” said spokesperson Kimberly King.

Superintendent Bystedt has ordered all stops with undocumented immigrants to be bypassed following the altercations. “Please make sure you are watching and if they do, just follow that bus to the next station,” she told parents from Fresno.

Meanwhile, the district’s maintenance and operations director has been watching over bus routes to keep things peaceful, Fox 5 reported.
