House Oversight Brings The Heat To The Bidens With Subpoenas

Daily Report November 09,2023

The House Oversight Committee finally issued subpoenas to members of the Biden crime family and associates on Wednesday, following a Republican-led House investigation.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who is currently leading President Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry, signed off on the subpoenas. Comer subpoenaed first son Hunter Biden, President Biden’s brother James Biden and Rob Walker, a former Biden family business associate.

“The House Oversight Committee has followed the money and built a record of evidence revealing how Joe Biden knew, was involved, and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes. Now, the House Oversight Committee is going to bring in members of the Biden family and their associates to question them on this record of evidence,” Comer said in a statement.“Unlike the many lies President Biden told the American people about his family’s business schemes, bank records don’t lie. These records reveal how the Bidens sold Joe Biden around to the world to benefit the Biden family, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of U.S. interests. The House Oversight Committee, along with the Committees on Judiciary and Ways and Means, will continue to follow the facts and deliver the transparency and accountability that the American people demand and deserve.”

The House Oversight Committee also revealed that Comer has requested additional Biden family members, including Sara and Hallie Biden, and their associates appear for transcribed interviews. Elizabeth Secundy, Melissa Cohen and Tony Bobulinski are the other associates requested to testify before Comer’s committee.

James Biden’s lawyer Paul J. Fishman, in a statement, argued that there was no justification for the subpoena.

“After a long, desperate search for any financial transaction between Jim Biden and his brother, including an unnecessary and intrusive review of Jim’s private banking records, the committee has resorted to criticizing two loans that Jim received when his brother was no longer in public office and not even a candidate for the Presidency. Those same bank documents clearly show that Jim repaid both loans within weeks,” Fishman said. “There is nothing more to those transactions, and there is nothing wrong with them. And Jim Biden has never involved his brother in his business dealings.”
