Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) defended President-elect Donald Trump’s controversial cabinet selections during a Breitbart News Daily interview, asserting these choices represent justice rather than retribution.

During the discussion with host Mike Slater about Trump’s selection of former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) as attorney general, Davidson expressed enthusiasm, referencing his immediate request to find Chuck Schumer’s previous warning about “reaping the whirlwind.”

Addressing left-wing criticism characterizing the appointments as retribution, Davidson insisted these selections serve as appropriate responses to documented misconduct. He detailed specific instances of government overreach, including targeting pro-life Catholics and parents at school board meetings, while criticizing the Department of Justice’s alleged misuse of power.

The congressman highlighted how accusations of censorship, once dismissed as conspiracy theories, were later confirmed through the Twitter Files and Mark Zuckerberg’s subsequent admissions. He emphasized the necessity for accountability regarding these revelations.
