Donald Trump Greeted With Fans At Alabama Vs. Georgia Football Game

Daily Report September 29,2024

At Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, fans cheered as Trump led them into the stadium for the huge game between Alabama and Georgia. Fans who were beyond a protective steel gate in the stadium concourse chanted, “USA!”

As for Trump, the newly minted Republican presidential nominee was tossing boxes of popcorn to the crowd.

Trump adviser Dan Scavino Jr. posted a video on social media of Trump waving and shaking hands with supporters during the game, which ended in a 41-34 win for Alabama over Georgia.

Also at the game was Kid Rock, who has been one of Trump’s most vocal supporters.

Trump was shown on the ABC broadcast in a luxury box with Alabama team boosters during the event. He had reached the game after delivering a campaign speech in Wisconsin and attacked Vice President Kamala Harris for the migrant crisis, dubbing her “mentally impaired.”

“Left Wisconsin, where illegal migrants are causing havoc. I’ll take care of that situation, and fast! Just arrived in Alabama for big game with Georgia. Will be GREAT!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social shortly before kickoff.

The Harris campaign took advantage of Trump’s presence, airing ads during the game poking fun at his refusal to commit to a second presidential debate.

In fact, the Harris campaign tried to get a banner that said “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate” to fly over the stadium, according to the Washington Post — but weather conditions kept the plane grounded.
