Donald Trump Doesn’t Hold Back On Truth Social Following Harris’ FIRST CNN Interview

The Trump campaign fired back at Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday, calling her “still a San Francisco radical” after she declared in a CNN interview that her values “have not changed,” despite differing stances like fracking and illegal immigration.

Harris’ comments were made in a pre-taped interview with CNN’s Dana Bash that aired Thursday night. In her first TV interview since Biden exited the presidential race, Harris also was joined by vice-presidential pick Tim Walz as she continues to refine a list that several sources say has been narrowed down considerably.

“It’s been well over a month since Kamala Harris became the Democrat nominee and she finally decided to give an interview,” the Trump campaign said. “Kamala said her values ‘have not changed’ three separate times. She’s still a San Francisco radical.”

Similarly, the Trump campaign charged that Harris lacked attention toward what have been major issues like crime and safety in her new position — matters that featured prominently for former President Donald Trump.

“Kamala spoke for just over 16 minutes and didn’t even address the crime crisis in this nation. She spent a mere 3 minutes and 25 seconds talking about the economy and 2 minutes and 36 seconds talking about immigration,” Trump’s campaign said.

Harris was asked during the interview about her changing tone since becoming Democratic nominee.

“Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you have made, that you have explained some of here in your policy?” Bash asked. “And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?”

In response, Harris said, “I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.”

After praising Harris’s words about her values “because we agree,” he commented on Truth Social.

Trump posted: “I just saw Comrade Kamala Harris’ answer to a very weakly-phrased question, a question that was put in more as a matter of defense than curiosity, but her answer rambled incoherently, and declared her ‘values haven’t changed,’” he posted. “On that I agree, her values haven’t changed – The Border is going to remain open, not closed, there will be Free Healthcare for Illegal Aliens, Sanctuary Cities, No Cash Bail, Gun Confiscation, Zero Fracking, a Ban on Gasoline-Powered Cars, Private Healthcare will be abolished, a 70-80% tax rate will be put in place, and she will Defund the Police. America will become a WASTELAND!”
