Cover-Up? FBI Director’s Shocking Claim On Assassination Attempt

Daily Report July 25,2024

FBI Director Christopher Wray made a shocking claim about the assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump.

Wray, while speaking to Congress on Wednesday, cast doubts on whether the former president was hit by a bullet.

“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray said. “I don’t know right now whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have landed somewhere else.”

Wray’s comment is sure to anger Republicans and supporters of the former president, who already feel the FBI is targeting Trump politically. The director’s comments also come at a time when the trust in the FBI is at an all-time low.

According to The New York Post, a damning report delivered to the House Judiciary Committee by an alliance of retired and active-duty agents and analysts revealed that even local law enforcement does not trust the FBI.

“Police officers and sheriff’s deputies on patrol and detectives investigating illegal activity in their jurisdictions have unparalleled visibility into street-level crime. . . .” the reports read. “When this information is not immediately shared with the FBI, the FBI is left to address complex, evolving threats facing the United States with an unacceptably vast and debilitating ‘blind spot’ because [it] does not have enough personnel and resources to see into every corner of the country.”

According to the post, over  30 “independent, highly credible law-enforcement sources and sub-sources” around the country testified in the report. The witnesses do not trust the FBI because it has been operating as a partisan federal agency motivated by a political agenda.

“They are not only reluctant to work with the FBI but reportedly have decided to no longer share actionable, substantive information on criminal and other intelligence-related activity with the FBI,” the report further states.

One source who spoke with the authors of the report said they find it unbelievable that the FBI is not going after far-left militant groups such as Antifa, BLM and pro-Palestinian rioters with the same vigor it used against the January 6 protesters.

Sources also believe leadership at the FBI “would exploit any information provided to them to violate the law and the constitutional rights of suspects who are under investigation, as well as innocent citizens.”
