Biden, in September 2021, fell several times as he tried to board Air Force One. Biden was climbing the steps of Air Force One when he tripped twice before falling over the third time.
The president took another fall in June 2022 during a bike ride in Delaware. Biden was spending the weekend at his Rehoboth Beach vacation home when he decided to go for a bike ride. The president rode his bike in the direction of some locals and stopped to talk to them when he lost his footing and fell from his bike. Following the fall, the White House released a statement saying the president did not sustain any serious injury.
“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine,” an unnamed White House official said. “No medical attention is needed. The president looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
