Chick-Fil-A Bumped From No.1 Fast Food Stop After A Decade – Replaced By Rising Star

A new poll reveals that Del Taco is now the top fast food joint while Chick-Fil-A drops to number three.

Chick-fil-A, the chicken sandwich chain that brought us “Eat Mor Chikin,” has been bumped from its perch as America’s favorite fast food restaurant. 

According to USA Today’s reader-ranked annual survey, Chick-fil-A has slipped to number three after nearly a decade on top of the fast food kingdom. It also follows the chain’s March statement that it would be dropping antibiotic-free chicken in early spring because of reported difficulties.

In a surprise move, Del Taco took home the title for best fast food fries with crinkle cut fries. That led the publication to point out — “This popular taco stop, which serves all kinds of satisfying Mexican fare including burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, also offers burgers and fries. In addition, Del Taco has a dedicated breakfast menu, as well as a vegan and vegetarian menu.”
