Biden Appears To Freeze Juneteenth Celebration

Daily Report June 12,2024

President Joe Biden’s recent display has raised questions about his health and cognitive abilities during a Juneteenth celebration at the White House.

During the event ahead of the national holiday next week, the president seemed to freeze as the rest of the crowd, including Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, grooved along to the lively band.

Footage shared by the RNC Research group on X showed Biden grinning while Harris and George Floyd’s family members danced.

The footage also shows Biden staring blankly and not moving an inch for about 30 seconds before Philonise Floyd, the brother of the late George Floyd, noticed the president and put his arm around him.

Biden then smiles as Floyd leans in to say something, and they bump fists after exchanging a few words.

Biden, known as one of the world’s oldest presidents, later delivered a confusing speech. The 81-year-old president struggled to speak, using notes and relying on aides to help him through the event. His speech became increasingly confusing, making it difficult to understand what he was saying.

As reported by Daily Mail, before his speech, Biden was seen taking a large drink from a bottle containing a red liquid, possibly Gatorade. He remained seated for most of the celebration while others around him stood.

Despite the White House’s efforts to downplay the incident, voters are expressing concerns about the president’s inability to perform his duties as a president.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal published a report detailing instances in which the president had trouble communicating clearly in private meetings with staff and members of Congress.

In a January meeting about Ukraine aid, Biden reportedly moved slowly, took 10 minutes to greet negotiators and read from notes, making broad points. The president struggled to answer questions, turning to staffers for help.

Additionally, Biden mixed up cabinet secretaries’ names, forgetting the names of international figures and confusing country leaders during a press conference.

“You couldn’t be there and not feel uncomfortable,” one person who met with Biden during critical negotiations over congressional funding for Ukraine aid in January said. “I’ll just say that.”
